Today Visscher Construction & Restoration INC kicked off an exciting journey to completely change the landscape of their onboarding and on-the-job training process. This team consists of some true professionals and leaders of the industry and we are proud to be able to help them in the coming months.

In the coming months they will be actively working on documenting processes, cross-training, introducing video learning for new hires, and achieving certifications for the industry to keep their services top-notch.

In 2023 I was fortunate to have Visscher complete repairs on my home in an emergency situation. I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge on how to get the job done. It's encouraging to see them now cross-train and develop the next generation of workers to these best practices.

We enjoyed participating with the United Way of Mason County - Michigan this past month to decorate trees for charity! Such a special event that we hope will turn into an annual tradition for the community. Thank you Lynne and Amanda for your hard work and to Stix Bar for providing such a wonderful venue for the event!

Back in October, the team at Metal Components completed our 2-Day Lean Six Sigma Training! 🎉

Some of the topics covered during this course were:

✅Standardizing Communication
✅Implementing Suggestions
✅The importance of Workplace Organization
✅Documenting Standard Work through written work instructions
✅Production Planning, and
✅Solving problems through the 5 Whys Process

We are so fortunate and thankful to have been able to have this training right on-site, as well. The entire team at Metal Components were wonderful hosts and we look forward to seeing this relationship grow for many years to come!
