Erin here with a write-up for Rustica’s in Lufkin! It has taken me waaaaaaay too long to try this restaurant but I’m so glad I finally made it there! They have a variety of sandwiches, salads, and taco plates. I ordered the beer braised brisket tacos on flour tortillas and they came out fresh, tender and a Generous portion! Note it my photo: I got 4 tacos but snarfed two of them so fast before I remembered to take a picture because they are THAT GOOD!! The fresh cilantro and onions were perfect! Both hot sauces had a slight zing, very little heat, and big flavor!! I cleaned my plate and also ordered the berry cobbler with ice cream! I didn’t get a picture because again, it was so good that I ate it way too fast! The food here gets 5 stars from me! If you haven’t been here, take my word for it: GO!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Hey everyone! Erin here and I wanted to share a write up on The Captain Crab here in Lufkin!
First, I’d like to say that the restaurant was a lot of fun and the waitstaff were excellent! The food, which is Cajun seafood was delicious! I loved that you could pick your sauce and your heat! They had a variety of options that fit many budgets, although this is on the slightly pricier side of things. The crab legs, shrimp, and corn were great! I ate way too much. I know I plan to be back again soon!

Here in Palestine at Amazing Cravings-Jewel's Way! Worth the drive...home cooking and soul food that CANNOT be beat! Chanetra's gumbo is THe BEST I have ever had!!!
