Services entails: social services consultation, final expense planning, budget development, assisting with long-term care selection and placement of loved one(s).TAOLA is an agency that specializes in assist
ing seniors/families to: complete advance directives such as living wills, medical power of attorney (MPOA), durable power of attorney (DPOA), and out-of-hospital-do-not-resuscitate (OODNR). Assist families/seniors to complete the necessary paperwork to apply for community resources such as food stamps, community alternative programs (CBA) and low income housing. Assist with income tax preparation during tax season. Visiting long-term care residents in nursing facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, CCRC facilities or retirement living per families’ request. TAOLA provides special services which includes praying with resident, investigating concerns of the resident/families when love one is in LTC, and serving in the role of advocate if requested by family members or seniors. When the senior is in the community TALOA visits seniors in their homes and provides additional services such as setting doctor’s appointments, and assessing residents for additional needs to maintain their community living. In times of needs, TAOLA also provides encouragement or reassurance to families/seniors.
