Current conditions are creating a high fire danger in our area. Dry ground and vegetation, low humidity, and windy conditions can cause fires to start easily and spread quickly. Please avoid outdoor burning, use caution with grills and equipment, and report any smoke or fire immediately by calling 911.

Memorial Day, cook outs, a day off, extended weekend for a little vacation. With the pouring down rain it has put a damper on most of the weekend. BUT really, it’s about those who didn’t make it back and we will never forget. President Trump ordered flags to be flown at half-mast . So humbled to be part of an organization that has basic core values. All seven of our trucks carry the” In God we Trust “across the front windshield . Couldn’t be prouder. “A Few Serving Many” is our logo.

Good afternoon,

I wanted to notify everyone that the burning ban for Robeson County has been lifted by the NC Forestry Service and the Robeson County Fire Marshal’s Office.

At this time, outdoor burning is permitted; however, we still encourage all residents to use caution and follow all applicable safety guidelines when conducting any open burning.

This morning members from our department along with members from Rennert VFD, Robeson County Fire Marshals Office, and several representatives from Mountaire Farms meet for a training/tour of their facilities.

Team work makes the dream work and this class along with all the ones in the past and the many to come will help save lives in the event of an emergency!

We were honored to host the Robeson County Firemans Association tonight at our department. Departments from across the county came to fellowship and learn about current events happening in and around the county. Thank you to all who attended and The Flaming Pig for the amazing food!
