A client doesn’t fully meet you.
They question what you’re seeing.
They respond from a more surface level than what you know is there.
And something in you drops.
Not dramatically.
But enough that you feel it.
A subtle disruption.

you start trying to recover it.
You explain more.
Refine your words.
Try to help them “get it.”

Because something in that moment no longer feels fully stable.

They adjust.
They continue.
