🚒 COMMUNITY UPDATE: Shared Services Agreement with Westampton Emergency Services 🚒
We are excited to share a major update for Lumberton Township!

To ensure continuous, reliable fire coverage, we’ve partnered with Westampton Emergency Services to provide supplemental daytime coverage alongside our dedicated volunteer team.
What this means for our community:
🤝 Stronger Partnership: Building on our great relationship with Westampton to deliver seamless emergency response.
⏱️ Daytime Support: Ensuring rapid response times when volunteer availability is traditionally lower.
🌙 Volunteer Focus: Allowing our crew to focus on night and weekend coverage.
We thank our township officials for working with us to find a plan that helps us maintain a high level of service.

🚒 To our volunteers and community: Our volunteer team isn't going anywhere! We are constantly finding new ways to keep our firefighters active, supported, and compensated for their dedication and service.

9:37 a.m. – American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon.
9:59 a.m. – The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses.
10:03 a.m. – United Airlines Flight 93 crashes into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
10:28 a.m. – The North Tower of the World Trade Center collapses.

Never forget the lives lost on that day.
The families that are still dealing with sickness, pain, and grief.

Route 38 Westbound is shut down until further notice due to a motor vehicle collision investigation.

Seek an alternate route. NJ DOT is on location assisting with traffic flow. An update will be given when the roadway is reopened.
