My summer has started with a rush of interesting chordophone setups. I have also begun the somewhat arduous task of sourcing materials for an acoustic steel string guitar commission! I will be documenting its construction for all to see in the coming months.

A client of mine asked me to replace the broken pick guard on his custom built guitar. He chose the acrylic blank material and I did the final work using only hand tools. The resulting instrument is definitely one of a kind!
