LUTHER BUSINESS OWNERS — WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! 🤝

I’m working on putting together a business networking event here in Luther for the middle of January!

The idea is simple: bring local business owners together to meet each other, build relationships, share ideas, and find ways to support each other’s businesses while strengthening our community.

Nothing overly formal. Just good conversations, new connections, and we’ll even have some door prizes to give away! 🎁

Right now, we’re just trying to gauge interest and get an idea of how many people would attend.

We’ll release the official flyer in November with the finalized date, location, and event details.

Not every productive day happens on a jobsite.

Another maintenance day at the shop getting everything greased, serviced, checked over, and ready for the next round.

Taking care of equipment on the slow days is what keeps it moving on the busy ones.

Water will always find the weak spot.

We recently wrapped up an HOA project correcting drainage and erosion issues throughout the neighborhood.

We replaced the pond overflow standpipe, added riprap in problem areas, and corrected drainage at the front entrance where runoff was washing out around the neighborhood signs.

Control the water before the water controls the property.

Check out the before and after on this almost 2-acre pond.

We came in and completely cleaned it out, dug it back out, reshaped the pond, corrected grading around the house, and finished it off by spreading bentonite to help seal it up and hold water.

A project like this is a lot more than just moving dirt — it’s about fixing drainage, improving the property, and building something that’s going to work the way it should for years to come.

The drone shots really show just how big of a transformation this one was.

From overgrown and needing work ➡️ cleaned up, reshaped, graded, and ready for water.

This one was a project.

We cleaned out this almost 2-acre pond, reshaped and cleaned up the bottom, and then spread bentonite throughout it to help seal things back up and improve water retention.

A lot of dirt got moved on this one, but it made a huge difference getting all of the buildup out and getting the pond back where it needed to be.

Now comes the best part — watching it fill back up and seeing the finished result.

Some days you move dirt… some days the dirt wins. 😂

Got the dozer buried up in the pond, but that’s all part of the game. We’ll get her out, get cleaned up, and keep pushing.
