Specialized Investigative Support, Tampa Private Investigators, is a locally owned and operated business based in the Tampa Bay area. Hunter, retired after thirty-one years as a Criminal Investigator with an urban police department. During his thirty-one year tenure as a Criminal Investigator he led investigations regarding Homicide, Child Abuse, Criminal Sexual conduct, Complex Financial Crimes,

Assault, Kidnapping, Robbery, Burglary and numerous other types of cases ranging from the routine to high profile. He later joined the private sector as an Investigative Case Manager for the SIU, (Special Investigation Unit), of a major Insurance Carrier and as a Claims Investigator for a second major insurance company before founding SIS in 2004. Hunter had the opportunity to work closely with Claims Adjusters, who represented a variety of coverage lines, during his employment with the two major insurance companies. He has attended the National Insurance Crime Bureau Academy and has been certified by the Reid School of Interrogations and Interviewing. Hunter’s years of training and experience in both the public and private domain has left him well qualified to handle all of your investigative needs. is licensed as a full-service Private Investigation Agency by the State of Florida (License # A-2400098) and is insured with a $1,000,000 General Liability policy, which includes Errors and Omissions. We are members of the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators.
