Lyman Guitar

Today’s meeting with Westminster Effects about a pedal project gave me some extra motivation. Back at the workshop, I spent the last two hours before heading home cutting a guitar body shape we’ve never cut before. 🎸

This image shows the look I’m aiming for—red wood grain with black hardware. What do you think?

From raw wood to a guitar body—here’s a look behind the scenes at Lyman Guitar. 🎸 More of the build coming soon!

Our first time cutting this body style at Lyman Guitar USA Customs! 🎸 We usually work on Strat and Tele shapes, so it’s exciting to try something different.

Still a work in progress—what do you think of this shape? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

🎸 A Friendship & Partnership Built Over the Years 🤝

Our relationship with Honeycutt Music began before COVID, when they became an authorized dealer for Lyman Guitar.

Through the years, they have been more than just a dealer. Every time we visit, we are welcomed with warmth, friendship, and genuine hospitality. We truly appreciate the trust and support they have given Lyman throughout our journey in the USA.

It was wonderful to visit them again today in Johnson City, Tennessee, spend time together, talk guitars, and see Lyman guitars in the hands of musicians at the store. 🎸❤️

A big thank you to the entire Honeycutt Music team for your continued friendship and support of Lyman Guitar.

If you’re in Johnson City or the Tri-Cities area, stop by and check them out!

Let the wood do the talking. 🎸✨

Warm finishes, beautiful grain, and two distinct looks from Lyman Guitar. Sometimes, the character of the wood is all you need.

Which one catches your eye—the deep brown or the bright amber? Tell us your favorite! 👇

Three parts. One continuous build story. 🎸🪵

We’ve brought Parts 1, 2, and 3 together in one video so you can follow the progress without jumping between posts.

Come inside the Lyman Guitar workshop and watch a piece of wood begin its journey toward becoming an instrument—from the CNC cuts to shaping and refining the body.

There’s still more work ahead, but every step brings us closer to that first chord.

Thanks for being part of the journey. What’s your favorite part of the process? 👇
