Happy Monday, Business Owner Friends!

Feeling overwhelmed by all that is on your to-do list? Try this:

✅ Make an Everything List and then prioritize it!

1️⃣ Grab a fresh sheet of paper or a blank e-document and start filling it
up with EVERYTHING that’s on your mind—both your short-range and
long-term tasks and goals.

That step alone usually makes the overwhelm seem much more manageable!

2️⃣ Then, prioritize your list, looking first for the urgent and important
tasks. You’ll start with those first! The rest of the tasks can be worked
into the days ahead.

Feels like a workable plan, right? Race you to the 📝!

🙋‍♀️ By the way, a virtual assistant is a good solution for some of those items
on your Everything List! What can’t you get done today/this week? A VA
can help you tackle various routine (and many non-routine) jobs from your
to-do list!

Happy Friday, Small Business Owner and Solopreneur friends! As we close out the week, here’s a meaningful question for you to ponder:

Have you clarified your Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values—for yourself and for your company?

I received an assignment recently: One of my clients—a big-picture visionary—is currently updating his Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values statements for his personal use and to share with others who are writing their PMVV statements for the first time.

My role is to help clarify each piece of the PMVV as it is developed and refined to make the PMVV as useful as possible both for the client to line his work up to each day as well as for others to learn from during their own PMVV journeys.

Now, back to that question from the beginning…

How about you? Have you clarified your Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values—for yourself and for your company?

Here’s a starting point, for either yourself or your company:

PURPOSE: Who you are, and why you do what you do. Your reason for existence.

MISSION: Your focus! This communicates the PURPOSE of you or your organization. What do you do, for whom, and why?

VISION: Your future direction! Here is your insight into your future aspirations. Your vision should be inspirational, motivational, and challenging to achieve.

VALUES: Your culture! These are your lasting behaviors that indicate your core principles and ethics.

Well, I try to at least! On busy days, I have to remind myself, "One thing at a time." I can multitask and get ahead of myself with the best of them, but as a virtual business manager of teams and projects, I also see the value of FOCUS and PROVEN PROCESSES.
