It is always fun finding a tree which was blown over by the wind and prepping it to be milled. We were able to prep roughly 6 10' logs at about 24" diameter. That's should produce a little lumber for us to play with after it all dries up. I think we will put our 291 Stihl chainsaw and to the test on this one... unless Mr Cremona wants to pass along his 039 to us 😁🤔🤞🏼

We are still learning about what type of wood we find in the woods. We can build anything but tree identification is still a skill to be learned. It sure is different than at a lumber yard. Any suggestions about this gorgeous looking tree?
