Cornerstone Caregiving Lynchburg opened our doors in September 2025 with a simple mission: to serve our community well. 💙

Last week, less than a year later, our team provided over 1,000 hours of care in a single week.

I’m so grateful for every caregiver, client, family, and community partner who has trusted us along the way. What a privilege it is to do this work.

And personally, getting to lead this office and see what we’re building together has meant more to me than I can put into words. I have never felt more made for something or more called to something in my life than I do to lead this office. I’m so proud to share this milestone with the women pictured beside me. I couldn’t ask for a better team. 💙

So much of what it took to reach this milestone happened behind the scenes, and we simply could not have done it without them.

Here’s to the next 1,000! 🥂

What a great day at Cornerstone Caregiving Lynchburg!

We were grateful to welcome Kimberly Roldan from ACG Hospice, who generously brought lunch for our office and spent time with us discussing hospice care and the important role it plays in supporting families. We’re excited to see ACG Hospice coming to the Lynchburg area 💙

🍩 We also hosted our first “Donuts with Dakin,” giving our caregivers a chance to meet our Scheduling Manager, Will Dakin. Will brings a genuinely servant-hearted, person-centered approach to everything he does, and his passion for supporting both caregivers and clients is already making a tremendous impact on our team. Melissa and I are so grateful to have him on board!

One of the best parts of the day was spending time with some of our incredible caregivers as they stopped by for donuts, fellowship, and a chance to enter our raffle for a self-care gift basket and $100 gift card. It was a joy to catch up, hear about the lives they’re changing every day, and continue building the relationships that make Cornerstone so special.

Days like today remind us that great care starts with great people, and we are incredibly thankful for ours. 💙⭐️
