🤠🚒 First Responder Recognition Night at the Lyon County Fair Rodeo 🚑👮‍♂️

What a special night celebrating the men and women who serve and protect our communities! 🇺🇸

We were honored to stand alongside fellow firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, and other first responders during First Responder Recognition Night at the rodeo.

While our uniforms and responsibilities may be different, we all share the same mission — to show up, serve our community, and be there when people need us most. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and appreciation from our community. It is an honor to serve alongside so many dedicated individuals, and even more of an honor to serve the community we call home.

Thank you to the rodeo and everyone who helped make this recognition possible! 🤠🇺🇸

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our Burger Burn! 🍔🚒

Despite the summer heat, your support made the event a tremendous success. We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by for a meal, visited with our firefighters, checked out the trucks, and helped make the evening so much fun.

A special thank you to all of our volunteers and everyone who helped make this event possible. Your generosity and support mean so much to our department and the community.

Stay tuned! We'll be back with our annual Good Friday Fish Fry in 2027. We can't wait to see you there for another great community event!

When the temperatures climb, remember to take care of yourself and those around you.

💧 Stay hydrated.
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning. 👒 Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle—even for a minute. 🐾 Check that your pets have plenty of fresh water and a cool place to rest.

Our crews are always ready to respond, but we'd much rather see everyone staying safe and enjoying the sunshine. Have fun, stay cool, and beat the heat! ☀️🚒

Happy Independence Day from the Lynd Fire Department!

We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable Fourth of July filled with family, friends, good food, and fireworks. Celebrate responsibly, keep a hose or bucket of water nearby, and remember—we'd rather see your fireworks lighting up the sky than our trucks lighting up your driveway!

🚒 Thank You, Fleet Farm! 🚒

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Fleet Farm for their generous $500 gift card donation to our fire department.

Using the donation, we purchased a 16-inch battery-powered chainsaw, along with an additional battery and bar oil to support our emergency response capabilities. Thanks to an in-store discount, the chainsaw was reduced from $399, allowing us to maximize the value of this generous contribution.

Community support like this helps ensure our firefighters have the equipment they need to serve and protect our community safely and effectively.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the true meaning of the day and give thanks to those who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

From all of us at the Lynd Fire Department, we remember and honor our fallen heroes.
