By creating a Glitch Station, you set up a go-to place for those notes on these irritating techie things. The more information you can gather about a tricky, glitchy thing, the faster you can solve it.

You will never be able to completely rid yourself of things that are just not working. Set up a go-to place for the notes on these things. The more information you can gather about a tricky glitchy thing the faster you can solve it.

NOTE: Your favorite techie support person will think you are super cool if you have something like this.

STEP 1: Create a folder call it Glitch Station and save it to your desktop.
STEP 2: Create a Google or Word Document and name it “Glitch Station” and save it in your Glitch Station folder.
STEP 3: Anytime something goes weird with your computer make notes in your Glitch Station document and save screenshots to your Glitch Station folder.

EXTRA CREDIT: Practice taking screenshots.

STEP 2: Choose your first 2 colors – Solid Time and Flexible Time
STEP 3: Refine your colors – Add more colors as needed

I have a long and tumultuous relationship with Outlook. It is this program that solidified my love of using technology to organize things and get things done. It can manage email, calendars, contacts, and tasks all within itself.

For all the trouble it gives me, it is still a wonder. I think of it like a classic Victorian home full of turrets and hiding places and built before plumbing and electricity.

Sometimes glitchy but still amazing.
