Later this year we will be celebrating 5 years of HLR — and honestly, that’s hard to believe. As we head toward this milestone, we have a goal of reaching 5,000 followers. Not just for the number — but because every follow helps spread the word about local beef, local agriculture, and the importance of knowing where your food comes from.
What started during the pandemic, which was a time of uncertainty, empty grocery store shelves, and a lot of questions, we have grown into something we’re incredibly proud of. We didn’t have a grand master plan. We just knew families needed reliable, locally raised beef — and we were willing to do the work.
Five years later, we’re still doing the work. And we’re still grateful.
Over the next few months, we’re going to take you back to the beginning — why we started, how we’ve grown year after year, what this community has meant to us, and what we’re building next.
