Our organization's second annual turkey drive yielded outstanding results, exceeding initial expectations, as our employee and community donation matching program successfully supported the South Beloit School food pantry, Loves Park Elementary, Windsor Elementary, and Maple Elementary, with over 100 turkeys distributed to our local schools this year. Midwest Packaging and Container is a respected and thriving company that produces corrugated cartons used in industrial manufacturing and is seeking applicants for their Operator Academy program. Members of the program will receive specialized training from experience trainers via multi-media platforms and hands-on experience.

Starting rate is negotiable based on experience and compensation increases are given as the prospect develops in the Academy towards being a certified operator.

Mechanical Experience or Machine Operation Experience required
Computer skills
Basic math skills
Can operate power tools, drills, hand tools, etc.
Read a tape measure.
Lift up to 50lbs

Train M-F 12pm-8pm and then put on 2nd or 3rd shift

2nd shift 3-11 & 3rd shift 11-7 Machine Operator will run the machine and the the assistant will assist the machine operator in duties that they see fit. You will eventually train to be a machine operator as well.

This is 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm. The assistant operator assists the operator in the functioning of the machine and will train to become a machine operator in the process.

Will be working with air compressed staple guns, saws, need to be able to read and understand a tape measure.

Set-up, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic industrial control systems.
Mechanical troubleshooting and the ability to disassemble, repair and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Daily Preventative or Predictive maintenance based on the established schedule. This would include, but is not limited to the following:

2nd shift assembler...Will be using hot glue guns and air compressed staplers to assemble corrugated containers for our customers.
