There are certainly times when a manufacturer, for whatever reason, is unable to continue production or supply the final molded parts, and a customer is left empty-handed.

Fortunately, transferring a tool or mold from one manufacturer to another can rescue a company from losing precious production time and experiencing potential quality issues.

Little Inventors Final Update! Jaxon sees his invention for the first time...

What a great story...watch to the end. 😃

So far, Macomb County, Michigan is the ONLY county in the United States that participates in Little Inventors, now in its 6th year.

And PTI was the first company to commit to this program; where we volunteer time and materials to bring these ideas to life!

Every year has a different theme. This year, students were challenged to invent something - inspired by an animal OR designed to help an animal!

Approximately 2,400 students across 8 school districts, submitted their imaginative invention idea. 14 were chosen. PTI's industrial designer, Steve Elliot, spent time with Jaxon, a 4th grader from Romeo school district, to plan and build his invention: the Suction Saver!

A ceremony with family and friends was held on May 28th where his invention was finally revealed.

When will we see this wonderful program expand? 😉
