Love making a difference in so many peoples lives. Had a 33 year old see me speak at a conf 6 years ago about high cash value life insurance and it's 15 living benefits. They were a successful young business person and we helped them set up a large life policy where they were funding the cash value for future tax free income and they were going to use the existing cash value for the next 50 years as a private family and business bank (they learned that from me at the conference) The large death benefit wasn't even in their top 10 reasons for setting up the policy.
Sadly, 6 years later this young person became ill and passed away very quickly. Obviously that wasn't part of the plan. But because it was a benefit of the policy their family and friends are going to receive over 5 million dollars tax free to help them continue with their lives without financial pressure.
Now we are working with the beneficiaries to make sure the money is protected, grows, and provides all the security my client set it up for in the first place. When I spoke to them on the phone about 6 months ago after diagnosis, they were so grateful they had seen me speak at that conference and then took action.
