What an incredible opportunity 👏

Illinois FFA is proud to announce that Owen Torrance, former State Secretary and member of the West Prairie FFA Chapter in Section 11, has been selected as the State’s 2026 National FFA Officer Candidate!

Over the next several months, Owen will prepare for the National Officer Selection Process ahead of the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis this October. National officers serve as tremendous leaders and agricultural advocates for the organization, inspiring members across the country through wisdom and service.

Congratulations, Owen, and best of luck as you represent Illinois FFA at the national level!

Occasionally, we discover some pretty cool historical resources of Farm Bureau Past. Today's discovery is courtesy of The University of Illinois Extension office here in Macomb as they do some cleaning of their records.

We appreciate them saving this little piece of our Farm Bureau heritage 📚
