Macon County Economic Development Macon County Economic Development exists to support local businesses and assist new or expanding companies. We are here to serve you!

We are a non-profit organization focused on addressing the needs of our community as it relates to economic health and vitality and positively impacting our county through programs that assist both small businesses and targeted industries. Further, we provide infrastructure grant assistance to the cities within Macon County to further enhance their ability to service business development.

Main Street America and American Express® are teaming up to help small businesses grow, innovate, and support their local communities. Eligible small business owners across the U.S. can apply for ⭐$20,000 grants ⭐ through the new Amex Shop Small Grants Program.
