We’ve been pretty quiet on social media the last few months, but we haven’t been idle! We are currently in Bolivia working on something big!

It is with sincere sadness that we announce that Matt Spinks will be stepping away from Beehive Global Collective and Cisterna Coffee Co.
Matt has been with both organizations since inception, choosing to believe in the world changing possibilities of a non-profit which would set out to help fund specific projects for missionaries around the world. Matt believed in my vision when few others would, and I will forever be indebted to all of his hard work over the years to help us get to the place we are today.
Matt was instrumental in making sure missional posts went out while our teams were abroad, and handled the marketing and graphic design for not only Beehive Global Collective, but also Cisterna Coffee Co. Matt ultimately took the helm at Cisterna Coffee Co., as we pushed to finish the website and prepared to be able to take online orders. Moreover, Matt pioneered The Slow Drip podcast, which provided us another platform to help tell the story of Beehive and Cisterna. Matts presence on the team will be deeply missed.
The reality is that in part due to Matts hard work both organizations have grown over the past year to a place that requires more direct hands on involvement. We at Beehive Global Collective and Cisterna Coffee Co thank Matt for all his hard work the past few years. We wish Matt, and his family, all the best as Matt continues to follow his calling in full-time worship ministry.
Personally, I will miss our Friday coffee roasting sessions the most, and wish Matt all the best and Godspeed moving forward.

- Mat Luce.

Why South East Asian Coffee?
Not only do we believe that coffee sourced from South East Asia produces a smooth, all around cup of coffee, but also the story of coffee in S.E. Asia, particularly Thailand, is a story of redemption. Prior to switching to coffee production nearly twenty years ago, many current coffee producers were growing he**in poppy. By investing in S.E. Asian coffee we believe that we are helping to support an ongoing battle against the global drug trade.
