Dr. Michelle Goreth DNP, PNP-AC, was recently appointed to the Society of Trauma Nurses Research Committee after an international call and review of applicants. The STN Research Committee is tasked with identifying opportunities to expand trauma nursing research throughout the continuum of care. The committee oversees the STN Research Grant Program, commissions, analyzes, and disseminates information regarding research conducted by STN on behalf of its members, and participates in collaborative opportunities to increase nurse input and participation in domestic and international trauma research projects. Dr. Goreth presented at the Pediatric Trauma Society meeting in Austin, Texas “Going from Novice to Expert in less than 60 minutes.”

We would like to recognize Dr. Juan Duchesne as he was honored to receive the 2025 Dr. Patricia B. Quijada Trauma Lecture at Orlando Health. Dr. Duchesne was an invited speaker at the Annual American Association for the Surgery of Trauma in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Duchesne has collaborated in five medical journals during 2025.
