A season of firsts, lasts, and new beginnings. 🍂✨
Today, Zion started his **senior year** and Reyna started **7th grade**… and neither one of them wanted to take these first day pictures. 😂 Zion even said, **“I’m glad this is the last time I’ll have to do this!”**
I laughed, but my mama heart felt it.
Kids don’t always understand how fast these moments pass. The routines, the eye rolls, the reluctant pictures… one day they become memories we wish we could hold again.
It made me think about the **changing of seasons** — how life moves us into new places before we always feel ready. Some seasons bring joy, some bring grief, some bring firsts, and some bring lasts. As a **grief and life transition coach for women**, this is so much of the work: learning to honor the season we’re in while adjusting to new normals and noticing the preciousness of right now.
So today, I’m celebrating my babies and praying over this school year. Wishing every student, parent, teacher, and family a blessed season of firsts, growth, grace, and new beginnings. 🤎
