Today was hard there’s no doubt about it. We all laughed and cried hearing and talking about the memories of Chief Danny Wilson. He will be missed, but we will continue to build the legacy that he has left behind !! Thank you to all the firefighters who made the past few days special for the family. Rest in peace Chief, we have the watch from here.

Today, we lost a truly good man and a dedicated leader. Chief Danny Wilson passed away this morning, leaving behind a legacy of service, sacrifice, and care for those around him. Please keep his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. This one hits close to home, and it is a heartbreaking loss for so many.

Chief, thank you for your service, your leadership, and the countless lives you touched along the way. Watch over us and keep us safe until we meet again.

Rest easy, Chief. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

🐾 Meet the Newest Member of Our Team – Cash! 🐾
We are excited to introduce the newest member of our department, Cash! While you won't see him wearing turnout gear or riding the nozzle, Cash has a very important job to do.
Cash is our Firehouse Emotional Support Dog, and his purpose is to provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to our firefighters and the community we serve. The fire service can be physically and emotionally demanding, and having a calming presence like Cash can make a meaningful difference after difficult calls, during stressful situations, and throughout the daily challenges of the job.
You also might see Cash at community events and public education programs, where he'll help us connect with citizens of all ages and promote fire safety in a fun and welcoming way.
Please join us in giving Cash a warm welcome to the department! We look forward to introducing him to our community and sharing his journey with you.
🐶 Welcome to the family, Cash! ❤️🚒
