I turned off $300,000 a year in recurring revenue to clear my calendar and build what was next. I went from serving a broad audience to going super niche, and that meant the majority of my audience was no longer a right fit. I basically had to create a whole new business.
It can feel really scary because you're letting go of what's been working to make space for something you're not 100% sure of yet. But the important thing to remember is that you're not starting from scratch. Even if you're building a whole new business, you've already built a successful one.
