Black Sheep Services LLC Micro-goal guide
Slow. Consistent. Human. Self-paced, educational tools | Not therapy or individual coaching This page exists for those moments.

I create self-paced, supportive tools for people who want to move forward in a slow, consistent, and human way. My work is centered around micro-goals - small, intentional steps that support reflection, awareness, and sustainable change. These resources are designed to meet you where you are, without pressure, urgency, or perfection. Life is often filled to the max - full calendars, competing prio

rities, and constant demands. Many people sense it's time to reassess, but don't have the space or energy to start. Here, you'll find tools that help break things down into what's manageable, realistic, and lasting. Whether you're navigating life as a parent, a professional, or simply a human in an ever-demanding world, this work offers a quieter way forward - one step at a time, at your own pace. All offerings are educational and self-guided. I do not provide therapy, medical advice, financial advice, or individualized coaching. Use of these resources and engaging in my social media accounts does not create a professional or therapeutic relationship. Outcomes will vary, and no specific results are guaranteed. These tools are meant to support your own process - not replace professional care. You are encouraged to move at your own pace, take what serves you, and seek additional support when needed. If you're craving clarity without pressure, you're in the right place.

When stress levels are high, the brain narrows its focus to threat. Gratitude gently widens that focus.

Identifying your support, no matter how small, helps the nervous system register safety.

Suddenly, your breathing softens, tensions ease, and your body settles. Nothing about your circumstance needs to change in order to feel this. It's the simple practice of gratitude. A small shift in our focus and mindset.

Gratitude is not pretending things are okay.

Gratitude is a practice of attention or noticing what is meaningful, supportive, or steady, even while something else is hard.

You don’t have to feel grateful for what’s happening.

You can notice what’s helping you survive it.

If you need help thinking about where to start, identify one thing that is supporting you today.

A quick grounding note as I return:

This is not a space for urgency, hot takes, or fixing yourself.

This is a space for:
– small steps
– nervous system safety
– realistic practices
– and learning how to live through heavy seasons without forcing our way through them.

If you need a corner of the internet that feels steady instead of loud, I’m glad you’re here.

Tomorrow, and through the coming weeks, I am going to guide you through what it means, and how to build, an Attitude of Gratitude, as a form of Return (in my 4R Reset).

I strongly feel, if you follow along with me, it will be slow, supportive and mindset changing. It will set you up for success to take that next step to Reflect, and before you know it, you will be resuming your micro-goals with a fresh lens.

I’ve been quieter here than I have planned.

Not because I had nothing to say, but because the world has been heavy, and I wanted to return with care instead of noise.

This space will always be about steadiness, not urgency. About small, human practices that help us keep going when things feel like too much.

This space is meant to be steady and safe.

This is a supportive, LGBTQ+ affirming space.

I am committed to creating an environment grounded in respect, safety, and humanity.

Harmful language, bullying, or hate don’t belong here, not because we avoid hard conversations, but because safety is not negotiable.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tender, or unsure how to “show up” right now, you’re welcome here.

We’ll move slowly. We’ll keep it honest. And we’ll focus on what helps.

Have you noticed a goal of yours has drifted, felt heavy, or doesn't feel right anymore? Have you not noticed, but are now recognizing it has no longer been at the forefront? It isn't your fault.

Return when you are ready, and welcome that return in any form. Take a little jaunt through the 4R Reset to reflect, refine and resume.

You got this.

Most goals don't fail because you aren't strong enough.

Traditional goals are simply too big: "Work out 5x/week."

If your goal looks something like this (whether fitness related or not), and you're struggling, it's simply too big.

Small goals are not a sign of weakness.

In fact, micro-goals build trust, create a sense of safety in your nervous system and build momentum through consistency.

Micro-goals aren’t about doing more, they’re about starting where you are. You don't need a better system. You need a smaller step.

It’s New Year’s Eve.
A natural pause.

A time when many of us look back on the year behind us, set intentions for the year ahead, and quietly (or loudly) promise ourselves that tomorrow everything changes.

If you’ve set goals for the coming year and you’re looking for a safe, steady place to reflect, refine, and check in with yourself—you’re in the right place.

This is a space where you get to be human.
Where growth is slow, intentional, and real.
Where we explore how to redefine goals, move through hard and heavy days, and gently reset when things don’t go as planned.

So let me ask you this— If you set a goal for this year… was it a micro-goal?

If that question made you pause or raise an eyebrow, that’s okay. Stay with me. We’ll break it down together and show you how small, intentional shifts can create lasting impact—not just for this year, but for the way you approach your intentions moving forward.

Here’s to a new year rooted in intention, consistency, and self-trust.
Happy New Year
