Thinking about hiring a Virtual Assistant? 🤔

Good news, you don't have to have everything perfectly organized before you get started.

It does help to have a few basics ready:

✅ A general idea of what you'd like help with
✅ Access to the tools your VA will use
✅ Your logo, brand colors, fonts, and brand voice
✅ A preferred way to communicate
✅ A realistic budget

That's really it.

Remember, one of the biggest benefits of hiring a VA is becoming more organized, not waiting until you already are.

A reminder for the entrepreneur who's carrying too much... 🤍

God didn't design you to do everything alone.

Throughout Scripture, we see God using people together. Moses had Aaron. David had Jonathan. Jesus sent His disciples out two by two.

As Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us:

"A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

We're stronger when God is at the center and we allow others to come alongside us.

Yet so many business owners believe they have to be the CEO, marketer, designer, scheduler, and administrator all at once.

Asking for help isn't weakness.

It's wisdom.

It's good stewardship of the time, gifts, and calling God has given you.

VA Tip 💡

Voice notes are one of my favorite ways to communicate with clients! They're quick, personal, and often much easier than typing everything out.

Here are three simple ways to make them even more effective:

🎙️ Start with the context.

Tell your VA what the project is before diving into the details.

🎙️ Share the feeling.

Explain the tone you're going for—encouraging, fun, professional, etc.

🎙️ End with the deadline.

A quick reminder of when you need it helps your VA prioritize your work.

These three small habits make communication smoother and save everyone time.

☕ Grateful for my little Cuban coffee pot. 🤍

Moving away from South Florida made me appreciate my Cuban roots in a whole new way.

I didn't realize how much I'd miss those everyday traditions until they weren't all around me anymore.

For years, I wasn't even making Cuban coffee regularly.

Funny how moving away can make you appreciate the little things.

Now, this little coffee pot gets plenty of use. Whether I'm making a cafecito for myself, serving guests after a meal, or brewing espresso for my favorite Espresso Brownies, it's become one of those simple things that makes this house feel a little more like home.

Sometimes gratitude isn't about the big milestones.

Sometimes it's found in a familiar aroma, a cherished tradition, or a tiny coffee pot that reminds you where you came from.

☕💻 Every workday has its own soundtrack. 🎶

☕ Coffee brewing in the background.
⌨️ The click of the keyboard.
🧺 The washing machine quietly doing its thing.
🐦 Birds singing outside the window.
💬 That familiar Teams notification.

None of these moments are particularly exciting on their own... but together, they've become the rhythm of running my business. 🤍

It's one of my favorite parts of working from home. The little everyday sounds that remind me I'm building something meaningful, one day at a time. 🌿✨

Before I open my laptop each morning, I pray. 🙏

Sometimes it's a longer prayer. Sometimes it's simply:

"Lord, let my work honor You today."

That quiet moment reminds me that my business isn't just about serving clients, it's about serving Christ through the work He's entrusted to me.

It helps me begin the day with peace instead of pressure and purpose instead of busyness.
