It may have taken us 20 years, but we finally bought our first 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲. It's a 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop 600. Only had 6 miles on it when we picked it up. We're all excited about it. Oh. And that sunflower on the sides? The only significance is that it's the favorite flower of Rose Molz so Gary Molz surprised her by putting it on each side of the truck.

It's official. Today it was announced that 𝘌𝘡𝘖𝘗 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 2025 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦 called the 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

As the award name suggests, it is intended for businesses that start from nothing and rise. From dollar zero (that would be us) and have grown to be a successful company in serving the greater Madison area.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻.

This award is very prestigious and coveted. Rose Molz cried and said; "I am so very proud of Gary. I wish his dad were still alive. He would beam and say; "that's my boy".

It would seem that more businesses than I knew actually realize what we've done for our community over the past 20 years after all...

Today was a rewarding day for all the EZOPeops.

You may have heard this on TV. As we all know, there was another tragic and heartbreaking school shooting in our local community. This time within ALCS (𝗔bundant 𝗟ife 𝗖hristian 𝗦chool) on the east side of Madison (just around the corner from EZOP) last Dec 16, 2024. The shooting took place in study hall. We think everyone knows that by now.

This coming 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝟲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the amazing company of Culver's is donating a portion of their profit in an effort to support and help those who are affected.

The restaurant chain officials said participating locations will donate a percentage of their Jan. 6 sales to the Abundant Life Christian School Emergency and Recovery Fund

Being a teacher is so much more than reading, writing, and arithmetic. Teachers take charge of our kids when the day comes that we send them off to school for the day. It can be scary.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗻'𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

Teach him:
• for every enemy there is a friend
• all men are not just or true
• for every scoundrel there is a hero
• for every crooked politician there is a dedicated leader
• 10¢ earned is more valuable than $1 found
• be gentle with people and tough with tough people
• steer him away from envy
• the secret of quiet laughter
• laugh when he is sad
• there is no shame in tears
• there is glory in failure and despair in success
• scoff at cynics
• the wonders of books
• ponder the mystery of ...
birds in the sky
bees in the sun
flowers on a hill
• have faith in his own ideas, even when everyone else says they're wrong
• not to follow the crowd even when everyone else is doing it
• listen to everyone and filter only the good
• sell his talents to the highest bidder, but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul
• have courage to be patient and the patience to be brave
• have faith in himself, therefore he will have faith mankind
This is an order, teacher. See what best you can do. He is such a nice little boy and he is my son.

♥ Many thanks to WMTV 15 News for choosing to show up at EZOP yesterday to communicate the efforts and generate awareness of the Madison Public Schools Foundation on TV. "𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿" 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀. Not to mention the 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 from Lands' End. An amazing community effort took place to help kids in need in the Madison Metropolitan School District so they can keep warm as the cold is drawing nigh. ♥

The Teacher Support Network, a program of the Madison Public Schools Foundation, has received a donation of thousands of pieces of winter gear and clothing.
