We are excited to unveil the NEW LOGO of the Midwest Food Products Association.

Founded in 1905 to support Wisconsin vegetable processors, MWFPA has grown into a multi‑state organization representing diverse food manufacturers throughout the Midwest, including companies that process and pack vegetables, fruits, beans, meat, pickles, sauerkraut, frozen foods, snacks, sauces, prepared meals, and many other packaged food products. The updated branding better reflects the Association’s identity as the voice and resource for the region’s food manufacturing industry.

The new logo incorporates blue, green, and yellow to symbolize water, land, and the sun – natural resources essential to agricultural production and the food manufacturing supply chain. The rising sun, designed to resemble a gear, highlights the manufacturers who are at the core of the Association’s membership, while the green field and blue sky represent the close, ongoing partnership between food processors and the farmers and growers who supply them.

Great information posted up by Lakeside Foods...

🥦 Nutrition matters. Cost matters too.

When you look at both together, something important stands out:
👉 Vegetables and legumes deliver more nutrition per dollar than other food groups.

At Lakeside Foods, we think about food value a little differently. Using a simple approach—adding beneficial nutrients, subtracting the ones to limit, and factoring in cost—we can better understand what foods truly deliver.

Beans are packed with protein, fiber, and essential nutrients—all at an affordable price.

Vegetables like peas offer strong nutrition with very little downside.

This isn’t about “good” or “bad” foods—it’s about making the connection between nutrition, affordability, and access.

When cost is part of the equation, vegetables and legumes don’t just compete—they lead.

💡 Clear information helps people make better choices. That’s how we’re working to Feed Trust.
