UltraPhonic citrus swirl drum set. This kit is one-of-a-kind and features a covering from Black Swamp Percussion that is durable, beautiful, and out of production, but equal in quality to any Delmar product.

Everything about this kit is top quality, from the 8-ply Keller maple shells to the interior shellac interior finish, to the application of the wrap according to professional standards* (see below). Hoops are dyed and lacquered (not painted) and thereby more durable. Bearing edges are rounded over which I think k makes them sound fatter and easier to tune. Lug casing mounting holes were bored carefully so there are no tear outs or splinters. Literally everything done by hand with care.

Made in Madison, WI USA by UltraPhonic Industries (my one-person shop).

Sizes: 14x22 bass with inlayed hoops, 16x16 floor tom, 9x13 rack tom.
No extra holes, dings, fading, or damage. Always stored in a dry, interior room without direct sunlight. Played but still vibrant Remo clear heads. Sticksaver 2.3mm counter hoops. Pearl iso-feet floor tom legs for added resonance.

* wrap is glued using 3M NSF-30 and a wrap press. Backside scuffed for maximum mechanical bond. Seams are welded using PVC cement. Wrapped to the shell edge before bearing edges were but and wrap edges and seam overlaps filed down flat to shell to allow perfect head seating and no binding.

SOLD: 7x14 UltraPhonic Orange Osage Snare Drum.

Vaughncraft steam-bent Orange Osage solid-wood shell with maple reinforcement rings. Vintage-style 30-degree bearing edge with exterior round-over. Danish oil finish.

8 Brass tube lugs. Ludwig P-86 throw-off. German Brass snare wires. REMO heads. Comes with the Protechctor case shown.

Built in 2010. Never gigged. Used in some studio sessions. Stored in a case in a climate-controlled room. Perfect condition. Orange Osage is a very hard wood, so this drum has a great crack and fat tone. Wide tuning range.

I've noticed a lot of new likes and follows and I want to acknowledge that, and thank you for taking an interest. Currently, due to COVID and other life circumstances, the shop is closed. But I really really appreciate the likes. Spread it around because in 2021, we're re-opening with a whole new (but still classic) vibe.
