Whether you're working in digital health, medical software, biotech, health-focused fintech and insurtech, employee wellness platforms, or AI-driven healthcare solutions, this program is designed to help you validate your business model and gain real momentum toward your next stage of growth.

Through individualized coaching, mentorship, investor connections, and hands-on support, founders get the chance to sharpen their business, push through the challenges that come with early-stage growth, and build the kind of connections that open doors to what's next. The program runs in an in-person format in Birmingham, AL, with a commitment of 5–7 hours per week.

North Gulf Farms Gulf Farms is showing how tradition and new technology can work side by side on the Gulf Coast.

Founded by Brad Yellock, the Bayou La Batre, Alabama company is working to build a stronger future for farm-raised Southern oysters and the farmers behind them.

Most recently, North Gulf Farms was featured in SeafoodSource for its use of digital traceability, tracking information like temperature as oysters move from harvest to the end user and replacing parts of the manual documentation process.

It’s great to see a 𝗴𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗔 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 portfolio company getting recognized for the work happening beyond the program. We’re looking forward to seeing where Brad and the North Gulf Farms team take it next.

Putting yourself out there is how you find out what you are capable of.

In this episode of our gener8tor Skills Impact Series, Anne Nadel sat down with Benjamin Sellers, an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist with a master’s in cybersecurity who turned to the gener8tor Skills program while navigating a challenging job market and the early stages of his career.

Through the IT Help Desk program, Ben built practical IT knowledge, prepared for his CompTIA certification, and gained career coaching that helped him move beyond what he could show on paper and into real conversations with employers.

A few highlights from the conversation:
👉 One-on-one coaching gave Ben the confidence to reach out directly to hiring managers after applying.
👉 That follow-up helped him get an interview and demonstrate his troubleshooting strengths.
👉 Certification prep helped bridge the gap between cybersecurity theory and practical IT fundamentals.
👉 His first IT role built experience and confidence that prepared him for a second role where he feels much more at home.

Ben’s message says it all: “If you wait till you think you’re ready, you’re never gonna be ready.”

A sensor-free, AI-powered digital twin helping utilities, aquaculture operators and conservation agencies monitor and forecast water quality at scale.

• NeuralX — Founder: Dr. Masaki Nakada
An artificial life simulation engine generating synthetic data to support real-time monitoring of fish health, biomass and feed optimization for aquaculture operations.
