Oh wow, where do I even start?
It’s officially been one whole year of ELP!! 🥹🤍
This past year has been filled with so much growth and stretching past more comfort zones than I even knew I had. It’s turned my old early bedtimes—and I mean grandma early—into routine late nights and put more miles on my car than I’d ever like to count.
But more than anything, it’s been the people.
It’s been meeting some of the most amazing—and truly, I mean the MOST amazing—people. It’s been celebrating and crying alongside people who used to be strangers but I now get to call friends. It’s been learning from incredibly talented and gracious fellow photographers. It’s been long wedding days, happy tears, new friendships, and so many many moments that I’ll never forget.
There have definitely been hard days, moments of doubt, and a whole lot of learning as I’ve gone. But when I look back on this past year, I mostly just feel so incredibly grateful.
And honestly, through every bit of it, God has been so good and so faithful. There have been so many times this past year where I’ve had to step back and realize, wow, I never could have done this on my own. So many doors have opened, so many prayers have been answered, and even in the moments where I wasn’t sure what was next, He has continued to provide. I’m just so grateful that I get to look back on this first year and see His hand in so much of it.
I’m so grateful for every person who has trusted me to capture a piece of their story. For every person who has recommended me, shared my work, encouraged me, or simply believed in me along the way.
I had no idea what this first year would hold when I started this little business, but wow oh wow, I’m so glad I took the chance.
One whole year. I truly can’t wait to see what’s ahead, but I’ll always hold this first year—and every person who has been part of it—so close to my heart. 🤍
