After much discussion over the last few months, Show Management Unlimited has decided that it’s time to hang up our clipboards. We will be forever grateful to Nancy Johnson Gilmore, who told us to put up or shut up when we said we could run a show better...she and the JBBA hired us to put on a show for them in May 2005.
Thanks to all the organizations over the years that have trusted us to put on a show for them as their fundraiser. We really don’t know how many have hired us over the last 15 years!
We would like to thank the hundreds of exhibitors and parents who have attended our shows over the years. We have made so many friends and watched so many kids become adults! We have so many funny stories and memories of really great times.
Our own children benefited from the many many shows that we put on, they honed their showmanship skills at almost every single one that we put on from the time they could show until the last one graduated in 2018. They became awesome sticks that I would let on the halter of any cattle any time.
We’ve watched exhibitors start out in the 3rd grade and watched them graduate and move on to the next season of their life. We’ve had exhibitors that went on to be livestock enthusiasts and had many of them end up judging shows for us.
We’ve survived $4 diesel, hurricanes, hot weather, and some of the coldest weather I’ve ever been in!
It’s been one helluva ride and we will miss seeing the next generation of exhibitors.
Thanks again to all those who have supported Show Management Unlimited.
