One of our favorite parts of beekeeping is meeting people whose passion shines through in the most unexpected places. Today we visited a cut‑your‑own Christmas tree farm (permanently closed), and their bee‑themed holiday tree was most impressive! While the Christmas tree farm has come to an end, there are 4 colonies of bee's nestled in the last of the tree's making it home!
The gold, the stripes, the tiny wings — it was a reminder that when you love bees, that love finds its way into everything you touch.
Moments like this make our beekeeping community feel even more connected, creative, and full of heart.

HiveKeepers Simon Mildren was at Magnolia Bee & Supply. We took the opportunity to show him our Primal Bee hive We recently put a swarm into! We are hopeful we will be stocking the super with Honey Harvester frames in it in about a week or so. Watch for more updates from our visit with Simon
