The Bearded Buck

The Bearded Buck It's all about Gobbles & Grunts! The Bearded Buck is an Outdoor Entertainment Company located in Western Pennsylvania. We will not settle for average!

Founder of The Bearded Buck, Jerry Tibbott, developed the idea about 10 years ago as a practical joke between himself and one of his hunting buddies but has since grown into much more. The Bearded Buck has transformed into an Outdoor Lifestyle Brand. We dedicate ourselves to not only being deer and turkey stewards, but land stewards as well. Jerry has always said, “although one’s name is on the de

ed to a piece of property, ultimately the hard work we put into our habitat and wildlife management is not just for our own satisfaction, but for the satisfaction of knowing that future generations will also be able to enjoy and carry on this lifestyle that we have become accustomed to .”
With The Bearded Buck TV Show coming to network in 2017, we are dedicated to bringing our fans nothing but high quality, professional level content. We work very hard in our everyday lives but also know how important it is to relax with family and friends and occasionally have some fun…well I guess you could say more than occasionally. We are a truly unique group of individuals that bring our own talents together to form a team like no other. We grew up living the “It’s All About Gobbles and Grunts” lifestyle. Through future ventures with new friends and partners, we intend to broaden our horizons. We will be expanding to live the “hunting and outdoor lifestyle” to its fullest. Who are we to turn down a hunt for any species, especially with great friends. We will always remember our roots that are planted so deeply in deer and turkey hunting. We are The Bearded Buck.

Don’t shoot the messenger just something I was thinking about the other day and thought I’d share. We’ve all struggled in the turkey woods and if this resonates with you, stay the course and keep at em, you’re probably doing much better than you give yourself credit for!!👊🏻🦃

So many layers to this harvest today and I’ll try to go through em…⬇️🦃

My annual family trip to the St. Lawrence River for Mother’s Day always provided me a small window to turkey hunt for myself back when I first started working for The Bearded Buck as just a cameraman and editor. I would always stop on my way up for a night or two to hunt my home properties and the last 6-7 years if I can remember right I’ve got one either on Mother’s Day or damn close to it. It’s become a tradition for me to bring my mama a Mother’s Day turkey. Fast forward a bit, now that I have more time to hunt I decided to carve out some time and try some new ground up here. The terrain is boulders, swamps, flat, farmland but LOADED with birds. I was hunting public and door knocking in the evenings. I got a piece of permission last night and went in this am and heard notta except a few distant gobbles on the neighbors. I pulled out at 8am to go bang on that door, sure enough it was a yes. I was packing up my gear to head out and a distant fog horn from a cargo ship on the river rang out and HAMMER about 150 yards behind my car. I snuck and let out a few soft yelps and three gobblers came marching down the path. I did my job as they did theirs and I was able to bring home a beauty of an NY gobbler to show my mama, niece, and rest of the family. I’m actually on cloud 9 still and don’t want to leave anytime soon, I love the wild turkey and my mama so consider me a happy and lucky fella.

Also notable, I preach being polite and respectful to landowners all the time and this is a case and point scenario as I sat and bu*******ed with the landowner for an hour or so after and we exchanged numbers and I’m “welcome to hunt anytime.” If you hunt permission chunks it’s always wise to go the extra mile to make them happy and be polite, and I think that goes for everything in life. Either way thanks for reading and I appreciate every single one of you and Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers out there. As always good luck and be safe!!📸🦃

Kept things rolling yesterday with some rainy double trouble here in Pennsylvania. and I decided the rain wasn’t gonna stop us. A blind helps so much in the rain but sometimes I feel like the gobblers can be hit or miss. The morning started out so so slow with no gobbles and no sightings and a tonnnn of rain. I think I told Cassandra around 8:30 that I was starting to regret our decision a little bit. I think someone was listening because at 9am the rain lightened for just a sec and GOBBLE. If you’ve hunted in the rain then you know what that usually means. A few yelps and moments later these two fellas came marching up over the hill half strut and white globes. We let em work in and got settled and did the ol 1, 2, 3 POWWW!!💥💥🦃🦃 This puts me down and out for Pennsylvania turkey season 2026 and gave Cassandra some much needed redemption after a weapon malfunction the day before.

I hunt alone a lot so it was refreshing to hunt with good company and I’m glad things came together the way it did. Two happy turkey hunters over here!!🦃 As always goodluck to everyone still after em and be safe!!

Birds have been ON FIRE here in Pennsylvania. I kept the train rolling yesterday morning with this gorgeous white tipped, big spurred, & big bearded gobbler. This was my first sit on a new permission piece and I wasn’t sure what to expect, how they moved, or what was here but boy was I surprised when these three boys came strolling in off the roost at 5:50am. I LOVE working for em but I love these quick ones just as much haha. Appreciate you all following along and supporting, as always be safe & Goodluck!!👊🏻🦃

Austin kept the gravy train rolling yesterday morning with an absolute beauty of a Pennsylvania longbeard. If you were to write up a script of how you’d want a turkey hunt to go this would probably have been it. Gobbling, drumming, friends, family, it DOES NOT get better than this. Thankful for another day in the turkey woods. Goodluck to all and be safe!!👊🏻🦃

Opening day of Turkey season here in our home state of Pennsylvania was picture perfect. Two absolutely beautiful off the roost hunts resulted in two happy turkey hunters.

Austin and his friend DJ made quick work of one and then Jerry brought his friend out with his kids out and got his boy on his first ever gobbler.

Congrats to you two and good luck to all that are out in the turkey woods trying to find em!!👊🏻🦃

Don’t forget that those ol’ boys are coming in looking for a sweetheart. Everyone loves seeing that gobbler coming in pi**ed off at a male decoy but a love struck gobbler in the timber is tough to beat!!👊🏻🦃

Opening day in Upstate New York with my dad is a tradition that never seems to disappoint. Birds or no birds I just like getting out with him. However, the turkey gods took care of us this morning. We pulled in 4 off the limb and one of em fully committed and pops let me kick off the NY season with a bang. Then, a quick pickup and relocation yielded two late morning loners slipping in just before quitting time and he made quick work of the lead bird.

Days like this one are why I deal with those early morning alarms day after day. Two super thankful turkey hunters right here and as always thank you to all of you for sticking around and showing support!!🤙🏻🎥🦃
