I'm going to shamelessly plug my side hustle and a very worthy cause!
Tomorrow, August 22, is the Eastdale Village Pickle Festival, 10 Otto Way, Arlington NY from 10:30am to 9:00pm.
I will be a vendor selling my woodburned cutting boards, handcrafted earrings and ornaments.
What's better than music, food, pickles, puppies and local crafts people?

This poor milk snake found himself caught up in netting. Luckily his friend Rebecca found him and made some calls. We were able to cut the netting away and release him.

Update on Chuck the duck.
After a little R&R at the spa, (AKA- Brewster Veterinary), Chuck the duck has been very happily released back at his home in Twin Lakes.

Thursday afternoon we received a call from Amy Lienart about a mallard with a bolt from a crossbow pistol or arrow gun sticking out of it at Twin Lakes Park in Eastchester.
On Friday we met with Amy and Encon Officer Murphy whom we had contacted, and walked the shore. Unfortunately the mallard was nowhere to be found.
Saturday we went back with Amy and were able to capture the mallard.
Brewster Veterinary kindly agreed to see the duck and successfully removed the bolt, and he remains with them for treatment.
We would like to thank Amy for caring enough to contact us, and Brewster Veterinary for their above and beyond expertise in caring for wildlife.
