Our Story
Although the name Optsy may be new, we've been around for a while. Founded in 2001 as Terra and then FieldOne Systems, we have years of experience in developing the right Field Service Management software for our customers' needs. From small to large businesses, from industries such as HVAC to IT and telecommunications, around the corner and across the globe, we've provided our customers

with technology solutions that helps them in their service organizations. As we grew, we realized that the field service challenges faced by our smaller and medium customers were only magnified in larger customers. The product strategy and focus on these larger customers became FieldOne Sky. As the market for enterprise field service continued to grow rapidly, and demand was driven by the need for mobile software solutions and cloud based products, Microsoft recognized the unique capabilities of our enterprise solution and acquired FieldOne Sky in July 2015. Today...
We have now come full circle and continue serving our small and medium sized customers with our field service solutions; only this time we are able to funnel all the acquired knowledge, new technological developments and experience toward the changing and specific needs of this extremely important customer segment. To those of you who have followed us on this journey and those we aim to serve going forward, welcome to Optsy! Today, our traditional customers using our small and medium sized field service solutions are found in 48 states and 13 countries. The flexibility of our product adapts to changing customer needs, multiple languages and currencies and the ever growing demands on field service and customer expectations. Optsy will provide small and medium business with a host of updated product capabilities and services. Our existing customers will benefit from these updates and will have access to enhanced customer service and support. We are looking forward to a series of new developments and investments that will radically impact the way field service is carried out and we are confident that our customers will exceed their business objectives and customer expectations like no other solution in the market. HVAC businesses often struggle to keep their employees happy, but not every business can afford a $1000 gift for every staff member. The good news is, there are other ways to improve job satisfaction.

1) Invest in a tool that matches the closest available technicians with every job, so employees don’t have to drive as far and so no one has to do late nights to finish their work load. (You’ll save money on overtime too.)

2) Give everyone a paid day off on their birthday. A small expense for quite a bit of good will.

3) Send handwritten notes to your employees every once in a while thanking them for their efforts. Make these notes specific. For example, if a customer leaves good feedback about one of your technicians, send them a note thanking them for providing that customer with a great service and let them know what it means to you. Most people like to know they’re appreciated and these specifics help staff realise that you truly do appreciate their efforts.

Post a series photos of the plumbing disasters you’ve been called in to fix with info about what caused the problem and how home owners and businesses can recognize the warning signs of these problems. The more shocking the better.

This is a great way of getting the attention of your target audience, showcasing the perils of DIY plumbing or engaging an unqualified ‘plumber’, and broadcasting the types of problems you can fix.
