Stargardt disease affects the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye that plays a critical role in vision.

Ocugen is advancing OCU410ST, an investigational modifier gene therapy designed as a potential one-time treatment approach for Stargardt disease. By targeting multiple biological pathways associated with the disease, OCU410ST is being evaluated for its potential to preserve retinal structure and visual function.

Not all age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the same.

Dry AMD is the more common form and typically progresses slowly. Wet AMD is less common but can progress more rapidly.

Geographic atrophy (GA), an advanced form of dry AMD, affects approximately 2–3 million people in the U.S. and Europe combined.
