🕷️ WHY IS NOW A GREAT TIME TO SPRAY FOR SPIDERS? 🕷️

If you’ve started noticing more spiders around your home lately, you’re definitely not alone!

🍂 As the weather starts to cool down, spiders and other pests become more active around homes. They’re looking for food, shelter, and warmer places to hide, and unfortunately, your house can look pretty inviting!

The home in this video is a perfect example. 🕷️🕷️🕷️

When you see spiders gathering around the outside of your home, especially around:

• Windows & doors
• Eaves and overhangs
• Garages
• Porches
• Exterior walls
• Lights where insects gather

…it can be a sign that there’s a food source attracting them AND plenty of opportunities for them to eventually make their way indoors.

🛑 The goal isn’t just to kill the spiders you see.

A good exterior pest treatment helps create a barrier around your home and targets the insects that spiders feed on, helping make your property less attractive to them in the first place.

And honestly… it’s much easier to prevent them from coming inside than to chase them around the house once they’re in! 😂🕷️
If your house is starting to look like this one, NOW is a great time to get ahead of the problem.

📲 Give 5K Pest Management a call and let’s get your home protected before those eight-legged visitors decide to move in!

Mice are always looking for a way to get in! I found this at a customer's home who started getting a lot of mice. As you can see in the before and after pics, when the tub drain was replaced, a hole was left that was an open invitation for mice. (Please don't bag on plumbers that's not what this post is about!). I got the hole covered up and inspected the home for other entry points! If you're having issues with rodents, give me a call!

Clean Home, Fewer Spiders

🕷️ This is why keeping the outside of your home web-free matters!

This home had a serious buildup of cobwebs around the exterior. Not only are those webs unsightly, but areas with lots of webbing can be a sign that spiders are actively using your home’s exterior as a place to hunt, hide, and potentially leave egg sacs.
A good exterior cleanup and regular pest management can help:

✅ Remove existing webs and spider activity
✅ Eliminate egg sacs and hiding spots
✅ Reduce the insects that attract spiders to your home
✅ Keep spiders from becoming a bigger problem inside
✅ Keep your home looking clean and well-maintained

The goal isn’t just to knock down the webs—it’s to help address the conditions that are attracting spiders in the first place. 🕷️🏠

If your home is starting to look like a spider’s vacation destination, give 5K Pest Management a call! 😅
