This week, Samantha and I have been working on what we want a portrait of an educator at Be the Light Academy to look like. As we are doing this and watching many of our educator friends and colleagues returning back to the classroom to prepare for or welcome students back to school, I find myself in deep reflection.

“Educator: one skilled in teaching” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

Such a simple definition for a profession that makes such an impact. Educators do more than teach; they inspire, guide, and nurture the minds and hearts of tomorrow. Their dedication goes beyond the classroom, impacting lives in ways that last a lifetime. Whether it’s igniting a passion for learning or providing crucial support during tough times, teachers play a vital role in our communities.

Look what arrived today!!! New things on the horizon for Quiver Advocacy and Educational Consulting and partners! We are getting set up to be able to help identify and assist kids with dyslexia and other learning struggles through evaluation. This is just the first of many new steps we plan to take to continue helping kids and families! Stay tuned for information about scheduling evaluations with us!
