When planning a cruise, it is easy to focus only on the itinerary.

Where does it stop? How many ports? Which islands?

But with a ship like Icon of the Seas, the ship is a huge part of the vacation.

Icon is not just how you get from place to place. It is part of the experience — incredible pools, dining, entertainment, family spaces, and plenty to do on sea days.

That matters, especially for families. Because sometimes the best part of a cruise is not just where you go, but what the ship gives you along the way.

This is why I do not just ask, “Where do you want to cruise?” I also ask, “How do you want the trip to feel?”

The ports matter. But the ship matters too — especially when the ship is Icon.

🌙 Late flight - right to the hotel, rest, and start refreshed on Day 1
