After cutting in the crossing and laying down geotextile fabric, we bring in the stone to complete this small stream crossing. This project was made a little more difficult due to some heavy rain storms that kept this intermittent stream from being 'intermittent' during construction. Additionally, one storm came with heavy winds that knocked down a few trees along the banks. But, we got it down with careful movement and some feathering of the controls.

HDE will travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region (and beyond). During this past winter, we hauled a load of road salt (25 tons) from Chesapeake, VA to a snow contractor in Boone, NC. (p.s. avoid waiting until the last minute to get your salt, if possible).

Sometimes, you got the equipment to get the work done. You just need someone to haul it off the property for you. HDE has a large, a medium, and small truck to handle any load you got!!

Sometimes, due to space, obstacles, or slope, the terrain is not conducive to skidsteer and tractor-mounted bushhogs/brushcutters. Got held up going through Baltimore at the Harbor Tunnel on my way to Philly this morning. However, I still got loaded and made it to Virginia Beach before the delivery window closed!! 🙏😁🚛
