It’s funny. I didn’t work much this summer, and I didn’t post anything to this account. I spent most of the time running the kids to swim lessons, re-launching the art side of my work, and dealing with some health issues (thanks, perimenopause…). Now, I’m back in studio with several projects, and I needed to delete some old online galleries to make room. I was laughing with my friend , that I had almost no inquiries while I was dealing with all of that stuff and now that I’m back on track emails are pouring in. It’s all grace and timing. Shot this ring, I think last year (!!) for a shop I’m not sure exists anymore. 😣 Can’t find any sign of her online. Running a small business is tough! Show your favorite makers some love! I've fallen in love with the dramatic look of hard light photos. I have time for one more small shoot in December, and am offering a 3 image package for $100 or a 5 image package for $125 for a shop that wants hard lighting. This look is really great for beauty or food.

A little about me:

It's Fall! My favorite season. My birthday is just around the corner, then my baby's birthday and the holidays with their feasts. The last few years have been hard, as old traditions fade away as extended family are being pulled in other directions, and my parents can't travel to us anymore (and we have to stay here so bonus-kid can see both parents) so I'm working on making new traditions to keep the coziness of the season alive. If you have ideas, send them my way!

In the meantime, I celebrate the near return of sweater weather (we always have a few extra weeks of heat here). And look at this. The last time I wore a scrunchy was jr high. I wasn't that cool, so I only had one. lol. But now they're back. They've been back for a year or two, actually. I don't know why I resisted. Love this fall pumpkin print from She's doing her fall drop today! Goes well with my hair and wardrobe. My hair is so long that I always wear it up, and now I can dress it up a bit.
