Our huts are designed for a minimal lifestyle, prioritizing experiences over material things and allowing you to focus only on the things you value - quality time with family and friends and spending more time in nature. With a focus on spatial quality over quantity (size), the open floor plans are designed with the fewest walls possible to allow the interior to feel more spacious than its small footprint. Large windows and doors embrace the natural surroundings and invite the outdoors inside.

Our cosy Hut 027 quietly nestled in the woods. This tiny, yet spacious pop-top hut features a bright open floor plan with a one bedroom loft that is housed in the pop-top portion of the home. With a large skylight above the entire loft space, you will feel like you are sleeping under the stars.

At The Minimal Hut, we think long term. Our goal is to build products that last 100+ years. We are working toward a better built environment where there is an emphasis on quality over quantity and a shared respect for the world we take so much from. When we think of our Huts being built to last 100+ years, we shift our focus to design, source and build with quality materials that stand the test of time, sustainable materials that give back as much as they take and provide designs that are as relevant today as they will be tomorrow. While this is no small task, we are up for the challenge, if for no other reason than it is the right thing to do.

Hut 089. This cosy cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The charred wood exterior helps the tiny cabin blend in seamlessly with its natural surroundings. This hut can also make great guest houses, in-law units or rental units on your property.
