Next Tuesday we are hosting an amazing program on the benefits of solar power, how it works and how easy it is to get installed. The federal credit of 30% is still good through the end of the year. I personally have 20 panels on my home and feel great knowing that I am producing carbon- free power at only around $9 per month! We have a local solar coop that has installed dozens (maybe hundreds) of these personal solar for over the past 20 years. https://fhreec.org/

Oct. 7 (Tuesday), 7pm - "Solar Energy" at Manhattan Public Library (auditorium): Bill and Carol of FHREEC (Flint Hills Renewable Energy & Efficiency Cooperative) will talk about the benefits of solar power and how easy it is to install.
