Winston C.Trumpet & Associates, LLC I’m Rev. Winston C. Trumpet. Really glad to be here with you all. Organizations benefit from improved decision making and stronger leadership and management.

At this point in my life, I’ve learned that real change doesn’t come from fancy ideas or quick fixes—it comes from care, trust, and a whole lot of resilience. Our team of consultants & coaches collaborate with leaders like you and their organizations to develop strategies that deliver quantifiable results. We help organizations clarify their mission and align all of their resources to fund, measure, and achieve their desired outcomes. How We Do It...

We start by understanding your most critical decisions and defining what success would look like. Recognizing that the definition of success varies tremendously by client, we find that the right questions and approaches vary too. For any given client, we seek to identify the most vital questions and structure the work to answer them. These questions may include:

What are the most powerful strategies your organization/network can pursue to dramatically increase social impact? What structure, process, talent, and culture are necessary to achieve your goals? What sources of sustainable revenue exist to support your organization? How will you know if you are making a difference? How will you learn and improve over time? Who must you engage to make change successful, and how can you ensure they are part of the change process? For many years now, I’ve been privileged to work personally and privately with leaders and professionals of non profit and faithbased organizations who are heavily involved and highly committed to fulfilling the mission and vision of their organizations. My clients carry major responsibilities, a demanding workload and have critical decisions to make. They want to thrive as individuals, avoid burnout and increase work and leadership effectiveness. If this sounds like you we welcome the opportunity to discuss your specific needs and how our tailored organizational and personal growth programs might assist you and your company.

Some weights in ministry don't come with a name.

Grief you never processed. Exhaustion you keep calling faithfulness. A workload nobody audits. If any of that sounds familiar, there are notes for roads like that.

Our blog, "Notes for the road," is a growing library of short, honest articles for pastors, chaplains, coaches, recovery workers, and every caregiver who pours out for everyone else: grief nobody names, the cost of being the always-available pastor, what happens when ministry grows faster than your soul, and more.

Have you ever felt guilty for needing rest while others still need you?

In more than 30 years of walking alongside ministry leaders, Rev. Winston C. Trumpet has seen how easily faithful service can become relentless strain. But caring for your own energy is not selfishness. It is stewardship.

Even Jesus invited His disciples to “come away… and rest a while” (Mark 6:31). The calling is sacred, and so is the person entrusted to carry it. Rest can help you serve with renewed presence, wisdom, and compassion.

If ministry fatigue is weighing on you, take a moment to reflect with our Compassion Fatigue Assessment: https://compassionate-c-a-r-e-ministries.marblism.me/compassion-fatigue-assessment

You pour into others every day. Who helps refill your cup? 💛

Pastors, chaplains, care workers, and compassionate helpers: caring for others can be deeply meaningful, and it can also leave you carrying compassion fatigue. Even Jesus made time to withdraw and pray (Luke 5:16). Caring for your own well-being matters, too.

Get simple, biblical steps to restore your capacity and keep serving with a whole heart in our FREE Compassionate Care Guide:

You can’t pour from an empty cup, and burnout isn’t a badge of honor.

You’ve stayed late, listened deeply, and carried concerns home because someone needed you. That care matters. And so does the person offering it.

Even Jesus made room for quiet and rest. Caring for your own well-being isn’t a retreat from your calling; it’s part of tending it wisely. With space to pause, you can find greater clarity, renewed energy, and a more sustainable way to care for others.

If you’re feeling depleted, take a gentle first step: complete the Compassion Fatigue Assessment.

You deserve compassion, too.
