Meet Courtney!
Co-Owner, Together We Heal LLC

Courtney, originally from the Metro Detroit area, has dedicated 13 years to the healthcare field. She began her career in an emergency room in Detroit before transitioning to long-term care and hospice. After founding her own homecare company, she successfully helped hundreds of families navigate the complex medical system, providing expert case management and delivering compassionate 1-on-1 hospice care. Courtney firmly believes that hospice clients "deserve to have an experienced caregiver next to their bed, holding their hand during their final days. If that means my client needs me 24-hours a day for weeks, that is exactly what they are going to get!" After relocating to the UP Courtney specialized in traumatic brain injury (TBI) care, a field she’s been passionate about for about 8 years. As the administrator of Northern Comfort Specialized Care, the only TBI long-term care facility in Manistique, she oversees the care of very complex clients, ensuring they have a place to call home and receive the care they need. Courtney says, "I enjoy my position because every day I make a difference in my clients’ lives. Some of the clients I take in have been turned away by many facilities, and I believe those are the clients that deserve a home the most."

Courtney is a highly experienced business owner, caregiver, case manager, and administrator who is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure her clients receive the care and support they deserve.

Brenna has been dedicated to the healthcare field for over two years, driven by her passion for helping others. After completing her education, she began her career in a hospital setting, where she gained valuable experience before transitioning to long-term care. Over the past six months, she has furthered her expertise by working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Brenna believes caregiving goes beyond just providing physical assistance—she sees herself as a friend, a confidant, and often a primary source of support for her clients. Her genuine compassion and commitment to improving the quality of life for others fuel her dedication to providing personalized, heartfelt care through Together We Heal LLC
