Paul Finebaum had some strong criticism for Arch Manning after Texas’ loss to Oklahoma on Saturday. 😳

Manning threw two interceptions in the loss, including a fourth-quarter pick-six.

“I don’t know what this guy is going to do because he is not the elite player that we all tried to make him out to be.”

Finebaum clearly isn’t buying into the hype around Arch right now.

The thirteen Americans killed at Fort Hood in 2009 were patriots who answered the call to serve. They were gunned down by a radicalized Army major who screamed “Allahu Akbar” as he opened fire, including a pregnant soldier whose unborn child is often counted among the dead.

Media coverage quickly shifted away from the Islamic extremism that motivated the attack, softening the language and rarely listing the victims by name. Political correctness took priority over clear-eyed recognition of the threat.

Their names and faces deserve to be remembered. Honoring those who paid the ultimate price means refusing to erase the truth about what happened or the ideology that drove it.
