As everyone knows I’m an animal lover, but unfortunately as much as I’d love to be able to take in all the pups I can’t, and our local shelter needs help, they need fosters, donations, adoptive families for some of the available animals, can anyone step up and help?
We appreciate the engagement from our community following our previous post, with many offering opinions on our actions. However, it's disheartening to note that only a few have taken concrete steps to offer tangible support. We genuinely value the efforts of those who have constructively engaged with us. The care of animals is a community responsibility, and we'd like to respectfully request that individuals consider lending their support before criticizing the dedicated staff (3) at our animal shelter. Despite our ongoing need for foster care support, few have committed to helping. As our page indicates, we're seeking a 30-day foster care arrangement until rescue teams can intervene, but unfortunately, we haven't received any offers. Last year, during our 30-day foster challenge to see how many fosters we could get within 30 days , we didn't receive a single offer from community members to foster an animal at the shelter. We're reliant on collective efforts to save lives, and fostering plays a vital role in this mission. If you could find it in your heart to foster an animal from our shelter, please reach out to us. P.S. We do not have small dogs. We have three puppies, medium to large size dogs and we also have kittens.
